Caramel cornflakes
Ingredients
- 1 can (300 ml) condensed maple milk
- 400 g brown sugar
- 225 g butter
- 150 g corn flakes
- 375 ml corn syrup
Instructions
- Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.
- Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes and remove from the heat.
- Add the maple condensed milk.
- Continue cooking for 15 minutes and remove from the heat.
- Add the cornflakes, coarsely crushed.
- Spread in a buttered 23 x 33 cm (9 x 13 in) pan.
- Leave to stand for 3 hours at room temperature.
- Cut and taste.
