Dulce de leche



  1. Gently place the can of condensed milk at the bottom of a pot of boiling water. Let it cook over medium heat for 2 hours. Check the pot every 20-30 minutes to make sure the water is always 2 inches above the can during the entire process. 
  2. Use tongs to remove the can from the water. Do not open the can until is is cold. Keep refrigerated. 

Warning: Never let the water evaporate completely. The can may explode and cause serious injury!
