How to pickup an order made online ?
When you place an order online on aupieddecochon.ca, the platform will offer you two options :
Option 1. Livraison / Delivery
Option 2. Pour emporter / Pickup Point
Here is the information to be aware about concerning these two options:
Option 1: Livraison / Delivery
The Livraison / Delivery option means that we deliver your order to your home.
The delivery days that the platform offers you are determined according to your postal code, so if the Delivery option does NOT appear in the choices, it means that we do NOT deliver in your area.
In this case, the only option available to you is: Pour emporter / Pickup Point
Delivery day: depending on the customer’s choice, based on available dates, for every delivery zone.
Delivery time: all deliveries are made between 10am and 9pm: be sure to be present. There is no specific delivery time. Our deliverers communicate with the customers, in the hour before a delivery to specify our arrival.
Office delivery: we cannot consider office hours. If the office is closed, we report any order not delivered back to the restaurant Au Pied de Cochon (536 Duluth, East). It is your responsibility to pick them up within 24 hours. For more information, visit the CONTACT US section of the website.
Home delivery: you are free to leave a cooler on the threshold of your door and we will deposit the contents of the delivery. This specific request must be sent to us when you place an order online, 48 hours in advance of a day of delivery.
Our Livraison / Delivery zones are:
Zone 1 Montreal Center
Zone 2 South Shore
Zone 3 Montreal East
Zone 4 North Crown
Zone 5 West Montreal
Option 2: Pour Emporter / Pick-up Point
The Pour emporter / Pick-up Point option means that you will pick up your order at one of our drop-off points.
The officials pick up points are:
Town of St-Benoît de Mirabel - Au Pied de Cochon Sugar shack
City of Montreal - Restaurant Au Pied de Cochon
Quebec City - Location to be confirmed
City of Lévis - Location to be confirmed
City of Sherbrooke - Location to be confirmed
City of Shawinigan - Location to be confirmed
City of Toronto - Location to be confirmed
All requests, clarifications and notes for our kitchen and deliverers must be forwarded to us 48 hours in advance of a day of delivery, otherwise we will not be able to process them.
Some of our freshly made dishes must be savoured within 5 to 7 days after delivery. Be aware or this or make sure to freeze the food.
We are not responsible for orders left in any of our drop-off points.
We do not leave any orders on site during our visits to any of the various drop-off points. At the end of each day, we leave for Montreal with all the left orders, and it is your responsibility to pick up yours within 24 hours.
Anyone who has not shown up at one of the drop-off points (in order to receive an order) can not be reimbursed.

SUGAR SHACK - SUGAR + HARVEST SEASON

Please, refer to the FAQ page to be FULLY aware of what to expect for those seasons (Menu, Procedures, Groups, Waiting List, Children, etc.).

Cancelling / changing a reservation /
Deadlines or fees for cancelling or changing a reservation during sugar season / harvesting season : A change on a reservation can be made (date, time, or number of people) up to three weeks (21 days) before the date of said reservation. After that deadline, a penalty of 50% of the price of the meal, plus taxes, will be charged on the credit card per person missing.
If enough space is still available, we’ll be glad to add people to your reservation up to just a few days beforehand. Please note that a reservation fee of $1.50+tx per extra person will be charged on the credit card.
If you wish to make changes to your reservation, please write directly to our external service provider.

Food allergies /
Our items are prepared in an open concept kitchen environment that contains nuts, peanuts, and gluten. Our menu was not made to accommodate people with severe allergies or specific diets.
Online shop / Gift Certificates
Gift certificates (50$ to 500$).
If combined with regular items from the boutique (clothing, books, etc.), Canada Post fees will be charged.
If ordered alone, registered mail fees will be charged ($9).
If combined with food in delivery mode, shipping fees will be charged ($5 to $10, depending on the delivery zone).
If combined with food in pick-up mode, no fees will be charged.
They will be no refunds on gift cards, lost or stolen.
Online shop / Expected delivery /
Expected delivery time within 10 business days for Canada and US. In some cases, may take 6 to 8 weeks for international* orders.
* If your order includes items from the store with books AND clothing, please note that you will receive these items separately. Clothing and other items (soap, gift certificates, etc.) are shipped from the sugar shack, located in St-Benoit de Mirabel. As for the books, they are sent via an American distributor.
